Ordering & Crafting

Q1. How do I order a custom strap?
A. Simply visit the [Custom Order] page to begin designing your strap. You'll be able to select your preferred leather, color, length, width, and add custom details like stitching or an engraved monogram.

Q2. What is the production time?
A. Since every strap is handcrafted from scratch just for you, our current lead time for production is 15 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) from the moment your design and payment are finalized.

Q3. Can I change or cancel my order after it's placed?
A. Because each strap is a unique, custom piece, our crafting process begins promptly. This means that once the leather is cut, we are unable to accommodate any design changes or cancellations. Please review your details carefully before finalizing your order.

Product & Care

Q5. How do I choose the right strap length?
A. The ideal strap length depends on your height, playing style, and the type of guitar you play. The most accurate method is to measure a strap you currently use. If your strap has adjustment holes, measure it based on the hole that you find most comfortable.

Q6. What kind of leather do you use?
A. At EL SONIDO, we exclusively use premium full-grain and vegetable-tanned leathers sourced from Italy and South Korea to ensure the ultimate playing experience and durability.

Q7. How should I care for my leather strap?
A. As a natural material, your leather may have unique characteristics like wrinkles, minor scars, or slight variations. These aren't flaws, but unique characteristics that will evolve over time. We encourage you to embrace this journey as your strap breaks in and begins to tell the story of your music.

Prolonged exposure to high heat and moisture (like sweat) can cause discoloration or deformation, so please store your strap in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area. Your new strap might feel a bit stiff at first, but it will soften beautifully and mold to you with continued use, creating a comfortable fit that's uniquely yours.

Q8. What is the shipping time?
A. Your strap will be crafted and ready for dispatch within 15 business days. Once shipped via EMS, delivery times will vary based on your location and the carrier's schedule.

Q9. Is it possible to get a refund if I have an issue with the product?
A. Absolutely. We stand behind our craftsmanship with a bold guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied with the quality of your strap, we will issue a 100% refund. Simply contact us within 7 days of delivery to initiate the return process.
